DESCRIPTION:Join us for an fun evening of volleyball with fellow community members! There is plenty of friendly competition and the encouraging environment invites the opportunity to improve volleyball skills through fun play. \nNew players are welcome to sign up at any time throughout the season. DESCRIPTION:The Colpoy’s Bay WI is happy to present musical group V. Poulsens Kapel in concert. This is in partnership with Home Routes/Chemin Chez Nous. \n  \nWednesday\, May 6th. Doors open at 7:00pm\, concert begins at 7:30 \nTickets are $25 and are available through TicketScene (https://www.ticketscene.ca/events/60609/) or by contacting the Colpoy’s Bay Women’s Institute (colpoysbaywi@gmail.com\, 519-534-3001) \n  \nV. Poulsens Kapel grew out of a deep immersion in traditional Danish music\, \nlearned firsthand from mentors\, friends\, and local tradition bearers. Their \nrepertoire traces a clear lineage to the music of Ewald Thomsen and the many \nmusicians who shaped the brothers’ musical upbringing\, passing tunes hand to \nhand and ear to ear. Through extended stays in Canada\, they also developed a \nlasting love for traditional Canadian music\, forming close friendships with leading \nmusicians from Quebec and Cape Breton. These exchanges allowed the music to \ntake root\, evolve\, and continue living in Denmark—exactly as traditional music is \nmeant to do. \n  \nvpoulsenskapel.dk
