DESCRIPTION:Join us for an fun evening of volleyball with fellow community members! There is plenty of friendly competition and the encouraging environment invites the opportunity to improve volleyball skills through fun play. \nNew players are welcome to sign up at any time throughout the season. SUMMARY:Music on the Bruce - WORLD PREMIERE
DESCRIPTION:Music on the Bruce chamber music festival is back for its sixth season this August.  We have a brand new piece of music to perform this year!  Thanks to a grant from the SOCAN foundation\, MOTB has commissioned a new work for string quartet and voice – music by Toronto-based composer Frank Horvat\, text by Cape Croker resident\, and accoladed Canadian poet Kateri Akiwenzie-Damm.  The new work\, “Petrichor”\, is dedicated to the Saugeen/Bruce\, and will have its world premiere performance at this concert!  The program also features songs of Rebecca Clarke\, and Schubert’s epic string quartet in d-minor\, “Death and the Maiden” \nAdmission is free/voluntary donations at the venue are greatly appreciated! \nCome be a part of this World Premiere performance!
