Exciting News: Mobi Chairs Now Available for Borrow at Sauble Beach and Bluewater Park!
We’re thrilled to announce that Mobi Chairs are now available for borrowing at no cost at Sauble Beach and Bluewater Park in Wiarton, ensuring everyone can enjoy our beautiful waterfront locations with ease!
Here’s How It Works:
- Reserve Your Mobi Chair
- Contact our Parks and Recreation Team to reserve a Mobi Chair for your day out. Bookings must be reserved during Town Hall Business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, closed on Holidays). Please allow for a minimum of 1 business day for response times. A confirmation from a Parks & Rec Staff must be received before checking out the chair as staff will require proof of the rental.
- Pick Up Your Chair
- Sauble Beach: Collect your chair from the Bruce County Library Sauble Beach Branch during their operating hours. For a list of their hours and information about the Library, please visit their website. (*Note the Sauble Beach Branch is closed on Thursdays & Civic Holiday Monday-August 4 2025 and the chair will be unavailable to rent).
- At Sauble Beach, you can access the water at the following locations:
- 11th Street
- Groves Point
- Each site is equipped with accessible parking, accessible portable washrooms, and Mobi Mats to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
- At Sauble Beach, you can access the water at the following locations:
- Bluewater Park: Collect your chair from the Bluewater Park Train Station for use in Colpoy’s Bay.
- Bluewater Park in Wiarton also offers accessible features to enhance your experience including a multi-surface paved section of the Bruce Trail along Colpoy’s Bay.
- Sauble Beach: Collect your chair from the Bruce County Library Sauble Beach Branch during their operating hours. For a list of their hours and information about the Library, please visit their website. (*Note the Sauble Beach Branch is closed on Thursdays & Civic Holiday Monday-August 4 2025 and the chair will be unavailable to rent).
