Register with the Province of Ontario’s Health Care Connect to find a family doctor near you. The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is not involved in the patient selection process for Health Care Connect.

Grey Bruce Health Services operates the hospital in Wiarton.

Bruce Peninsula Hospital’s Foundation “To lead our community in supporting our hospitals to provide exceptional rural care.”

Many doctors practice in the local hospitals. Their practices are independent of Grey Bruce Health Services.

Sauble and Wiarton MD Quest is a citizen led committee whose goals include the recruitment of new physicians to South Bruce Peninsula and to retain those medical professionals who have already decided that South Bruce Peninsula is where they will practice.

Being a physician in South Bruce Peninsula means that you can either be a part of the South Bruce Peninsula Family Health Organization or the Sauble Family Health Team. Physicians in both locations provide primary care with physicians from the South Bruce Peninsula Family Health Organization also participating in on-call rotation for the

Emergency Department of the Grey Bruce Health Services (Wiarton site).

CMHA Grey Bruce cultivates hope, resilience and community for those who live with, and are impacted by, mental illness and/ or/ addiction.

Crisis services are available 24/7 across all Emergency Departments in Grey Bruce. The Mental Health Crisis Line is also available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week at: 1-877-470-5200.

Grey Bruce Health Services Mental Health and Addictions department includes a wide range of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. GBHS have an acute care psychiatric inpatient unit, a psychogeriatic unit, as well as a psychiatric intensive care unit in Owen Sound.
